Shailene Woodley Boyfriend 2014: 'Insurgent' Actress Spotted With Hawaiian Musician Nahko

"Divergent" star Shailene Woodley was spotted on the Hamakua Coast of the Big Island at Waipio Valley with musician Nahko taking in the beautiful sunset scene on Wednesday.

E! News reports that Nahko, lead for the band Nahko and Medicine for the People, spent a few days on the island before taking off on his group's Australian tour.

Insiders revealed to the publication that the pair have been dating for a while and the "Insurgent" star may visit her alleged flame in Australia while he's on tour.

From the photos taken of the pair, Shailene looks happy and was openly intimate to Nahko.

Woodley "was photographed on Wednesday getting snuggly with a new guy on the island of Hawaii," described PerezHilton of the two.

The entertainment website goes on to share that the Hawaiian folk singer -- of Apache-Puerto Rican-Filipino descent -- has been promoted by Woodley, 22, on a number of occasions.

"He has dramatically changed my life," described Woodley of Nahko during a press tour for "Divergent" in March, recalled vcstar.com via E! News. "All of his songs are not only inspirational but relatable, and they coincide perfectly with the vision All It Takes has."

In another interview, she mentioned the group when asked about local artists that reflect a specific ideology for her.

"Maybe music. Certain musicians: There's a man named Xavier Rudd, another musician named Nahko and Medicine for the People. Trevor Hall, Michael Franti. The messages that are interwoven into their lyrics are really powerful," replied Woodley, recalled Grantland.

When it comes to relationships, following her mentions of Nahko, the "Fault in Our Stars" actress told Teen Vogue that her career and hectic schedule has prevented her from having a serious boyfriend.

"I haven't had time to think about a relationship!" she told the magazine. "I literally have not had a boyfriend in almost five years. I've never even hooked up with anybody I've worked on a movie with," admitted the star.

Does this mean that "The Descendants" star has finally gotten a much-needed schedule adjustment?

If this romance is true, hopefully the actress has been able to make the necessary schedule adjustments as she works on "Insurgent."

According to Enstarz, Woodley says that second film will be more personal. With director Robert Schwentke leading the team, the actress is excited about the direction of the movie and feels "he [Schwentke] was protecting the sacredness of the story, within the world of big-budget film."

The film is scheduled due to hit theaters March 20, 2015.
