Nikki Sixx of ‘Motley Crue’ Sells California Home for $2.04 Million

Nikki Sixx, the co-founder and bassist of heavy metal band "Motley Crue", has reportedly sold his Calabasas, Calif., home for $2.04 million.

The Los Angeles Times first spotted the sale noting that Cindee Zabner of Keller Williams represented both the buyers and sellers in the transaction.

Property records show that the home closed sale Sept. 26, almost a month after it went under escrow.

The residence is a 4,500-square-foot single-family home, located in the gated upscale community of Calabasas - the same one Justin Bieber once resided and created a ruckus in. The house has four bedrooms and five bathrooms.

Living spaces of the home include formal drawing and dining areas, a family room, a theater, a loft and modern kitchen with a walk-in pantry and breakfast bar. There is an office and the master suite sits on the first floor of the house.

Outside the home has gardens adorned with fountains and a swimming pool, a spa, a fireplace, a barbecue and a covered two-car parking space.

Sixx listed the home for $2.39 million in July, just months after he got married for the third time to model Courtney Bingham. It was Bingham's first wedding and the couple tied the knot in an intimate wedding ceremony at the Greystone Mansion in Los Angeles.

Sixx and Bingham bought a residence in Westlake Village after he listed the LA home.

Sixx's new house is a 10,300-square-foot, multi-winged mansion that has several open spaces for kids to play in. The couple has time until Sixx finishes touring and can settle down in the huge six-bedroom, six-full-and-four-half-bathroom mansion.

The mansion sits on a 1.2-acre lot and was built in 1996. Renovated over the years, interiors of the home now boast of mixed hardwood, stone tiled and carpeted flooring along with high cathedral ceilings and arched hallways.

Living spaces include spacious sitting rooms, family rooms and a formal dining room. There is a modern kitchen with a breakfast area. Other features include a gym, an office, walk-in closets in the master bedrooms, a den and a bonus room as well.

Outside, the home has a manicured lawn in the front with a fountain. In the backyard, there is a pool with fountain features and statuettes. An in-ground spa and a huge cabana are also a part of the elaborate backyard. There is ample parking space too.
