‘Just Cause 3’ Update: Avalanche Hints Upcoming Update, Will Be Released On Dec. 18

Game developer Avalanche has announced on Thursday that it will roll out an update to its popular video game "Just Cause 3." The company said that the new update is expected to be rolled out on Dec. 18. The game's patch is said to be a better version of the previous game, a report from iDigital Times said.

"We're pleased to announce that Patch 1.02 is coming to PC & consoles this week. The patch will be hitting PS4 in Europe first this morning, rolling out across other consoles over the next day or two, pending final approvals, with the PC version landing on Friday. Since launch, we've been pouring through your reviews and comments to help us prioritise our fixes accordingly. We know many of you have been patiently awaiting today's patch, and this update is part of a much larger plan to optimize and improve the game," Avalanche said via its website.

According to the report, the company is planning to release the patch for both PlayStation 4 and Xbox on Thursday while avid fans and die-hard gamers of "Just Cause 3" in PC will be able to receive the patch update until Friday. However, it should be noted that the company has yet to confirm which of the console platforms will get the patch update first.

Once the game's patch update rolls out this week, players will be able to experience several performance optimizations which include "shortened load times, better stat-tracking for the game's online leaderboards and a variety of other fixes aimed at improving game stability."

Aside from these, Avalanche says that the game's patch update will also fix the technical glitches encountered by players like the disappearance of the vehicles when they start a new challenge and the window size issue reported by gamers who are using the PC version.
