There is also a short list of devices that may update during the second quarter of 2016, which goes from April to June. Samsung has not confirmed these update time frames, and we note that the Galaxy Note Edge is listed twice, which makes us question the validity of this report," the report said.

Some models of the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 and Galaxy Note 4 have received Android 6.0 Marshmallow prematurely and developers have made the leaked software available for those who are tech savvy. In the U.S., T-Mobile has confirmed several Samsung devices, including the Galaxy Note 4, Galaxy Note 5, Galaxy Note Edge, Galaxy S6, Galaxy S5, Galaxy S6 Edge, Galaxy S6 Edge+ and Galaxy Tab S2 will update to Android 6.0.
