Tim Tebow, the former Broncos and Jets quarterback, has reportedly purchased a home in Jacksonville, Fla., for $1.5 million.

Tebow, who will be taking up the job of a college football analyst at ESPN this fall, closed on the home earlier this year, public records show. According to TMZ, the residents of the area are pretty excited about Tebow coming to live in the Glen Kernan Golf & Country Club area.

"Everyone's excited for him to move in, he seems like a nice man who will make a great neighbor. Our friends are more excited than anyone else!" one resident told the website.

Several Jaguars fans also petitioned for Tebow to play with them but the star player won't be playing in Jacksonville this time. Tebow grew up in the area and has played football for the University of Florida previously, but this time he is just coming to live there, reports NESN.com.

"I'm just happy he's back in Florida. I think he's a great individual. He adds a lot to the community here. I think he'll be a great leader," another resident told Web Pro News.

Listing records of the home state that the residence is a 6,525-square-foot, single-family residence comprised of five bedrooms and four and a half bathrooms.

While the home itself is nothing great for celebrity standards, some of its features like the exposed brick flooring and pavilions make it a unique house.

The living room of the home has exposed brick flooring and a stone fireplace. The modern kitchen has exposed brick walls too. There is a family room, a game room, a den, an office and a bonus room too. The upper level of the two-story house has decks that open out to the views of the rolling greens of the golf course.

Outside, the home has a brick porch, a three-car garage, a lanai and a manicured garden.

The listing called the house "better than new" boasting of a "fabulous Southern Design on 3/4 Acre Waterfront lot."
