Celebrity Homes For Sale: Producers Kathleen Kennedy and Frank Marshall Sell Their Brentwood Mansion for $8.6M

Kathleen Kennedy, the "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" producer, and film producer Frank Marshall, Kennedy's husband have sold their elegant and luxurious home located in Brentwood for $8.6 million, a report from Los Angeles Times said on Wednesday.

"The single-story hacienda, built in 1955, is set on more than half an acre and features a fountain entry off a circular driveway. The living and dining rooms, both with fireplaces, open to a courtyard with another fireplace, a fountain and gardens. The nearly 6,000 square feet of living space includes five bedrooms and seven bathrooms. The master suite has fireplaces in the main room, the sitting room and in the bathroom. Views take in the patio, lawn, trees and swimming pool. A detached guesthouse/gym with a bathroom sits near the pool," the report said.

It was said that the couple bought the whole property back in 2013 for $7.5 million. The couple's real estate property was handled by listing agent Stanley Richman of Compass, while Juliette Hohnen of Douglas Elliman represented the buyer.

It can be recalled that the couple also bought another estate property in Brentwood for $14.925 million. It was owned by the late Bea Arthur, the popular "Golden Girls" star.

According to Celebrity Net Worth, "Kathleen Kennedy is an American film producer who has a net worth of $150 million dollars. She began working for Steven Spielberg as a secretary, but quickly showed more talent with the production end. She went on to co-produce "Poltergeist", and to serve as primary producer on 'E.T. the Extra-terrestrial', and the 'Indiana Jones' films. Since then, she has served as Executive Producer on a number of very high profile projects, including the first Jurassic Park' film and 'Schindler's List,'" the report said.

Marshall, meanwhile, has a net worth of $150 million. He has collaborated with several directors like Spielberg, Robert Zemeckis, and Peter Bogdanovich in various film projects. He and his wife Kathleen founded a company back in 1991 which is called the "Kennedy/Marshall Company."
