Kerry Washington and Husband Ex-NFL Pro Nnamdi Asomugha Lists Hollywood Hills Compound For $2.695 Million

Star of "Scandal" Kerry Washington and husband, former NFL player Nnamdi Asomugha, put their Hollywood Hills West compound on the market for $2.695 million and found a buyer just after three days, Daily Press reports.

Sitting on three-quarters of an acre land, the 1926 French Country-inspired home also comes with separate chauffeur's quarters, guesthouse, and swimming pool.

The light living space comes at 3,855 square feet and is abundant of natural light, and also boasts a decorative fireplace, a renovated kitchen, a workout room, and has five bedrooms, five full bathrooms and a powder room.

The property has a magnificent view of the Hollywood sign and Griffith Observatory that can be enjoyed while relaxing in the outdoor living room. The landscaping is completed by winding paths and abundant trees.

Washington and Asomugha, who is four years her junior, purchased the property from MADtv and The King of Queens actress Nicole Sullivan last year for $1.865 million.

Putting their property on the market fueled speculations that the actress and the retired NFL player's marriage is nearing an end, according to Latin Post. According to reports, the two have split up some time last year and have been living apart since. The couple, who has a young daughter, are said to be waiting after sometime after the New Year to officially announce their split.

The two married in a lavish secret ceremony in 2013 and rumors has it that rumblings of trouble in paradise have been there the moment they walked down the aisle.

However, a source close to the actress denied truth about the rumors in a report by Gossip Cop. "A soure close to Washington, however, exclusively assured Gossip Cop that the tabloid's story is 'not true,' and there are absolutely no plans for the couple to divorce."

Whether the rumor is true or not, the fact remains that the 38-year old actress and 34-year old retired NFL player raked in almost $1 million from the sale and still have their Manhattan Beach, California estate.

Washington is set to play Anita Hill on HBO movie 'Confirmation' set to debut in 2016.
