'NBA 2K16' Gets Marvel Apparel for MyPlayer Mode and The Warrrior's Alternate Court

Soon NBA heroes would be like Marvel's superheroes.

The hit basketball simulation game "NBA 2K16" has announced its partnership with Marvel for the additional contents for the MyPlayer Mode. The announcement was made via NBA 2K16's official Twitter page Thursday. Soon NBA heroes will be dunkin' on the hard court wearing Spiderman inspired jerseys or a player's character will be strutting wearing Captain America hoodie.

According to Tech Times, the Marvel apparel will be available at the 2K Sports Store, starting Wednesday.

Moreover, Harrison Barnes of the Golden State Warriors was chosen by "NBA 2K16" to break the announcement. With his official Twitter account, he posted, "Big news! @Marvel apparel coming to @NBA2K tomorrow! Sign me up as Captain America #BeTheStory #NBA2K16. Sneak peek." Together with a snap of his in-game likeness wearing a Captain America apparel.

Other designs include, Spawn, The Punisher, Guardians of the Galaxy, the S.H.I.E.L.D, Thor and many more.

Just as the new apparel for MyPlayer Mode is being announced, the alternate floor of The Golden State Warriors is now available in "NBA 2K16." It was noted though that it will appear when the player wears Hardwood Classics. The announcement was also made via Twitter at around the same time the new Marvel partnership was announced.

As for other courts being updated, such as courts for the New York Knicks and Milwaukee Bucks, 2K Sports has not made any announcement, according to Design and Trend.

As previously reported, Stephen Curry was announced as "NBA 2K16's" highest-rated player after a bump in his overall game stats, now at 95. Falling four points behind Curry is San Antonio Spurs' Kawhi Leonard, while Paul George and Blake Griffin are tied at 90 after a bump of 1 point each.

NBA 2K16 just keeps getting better and better. For those who are not yet in the loop, the game is available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Android, Xbox One, iOS, Xbox 360 and PC.
