It was reported that the real estate agent handling the town, Stacie Montgomery, received numerous of responses regarding potential buyers of the town. Various people are wishing to do something in the land for different reasons.

"Some of the types of individuals who have been interested in the past included people who wanted to be their own mayor, people who wanted to live off-grid, several production companies thinking about reality shows, hunters who wanted to create a hunting lodge, or somebody who wants to own a bar," Montgomery said from the outlet.

One thing though that will surprise the town's new owners is the "haunted house" which is included in the town's property.

"Montgomery said in a Facebook post that local residents believe the house to be haunted, a detail that seemed to be missing from its listing last summer," according to Daily Mail. "She told Daily Mail Online that many who have stayed the night in the house have 'felt a presence' but that the otherworldly being was 'friendly'."
