‘Thug Worm': Possibly The Next Big Mobile Game in 2015

Casual mobile gamers have always seen new updates but only of few of them have been successful enough to qualify to be one of the greats. Games like Angry Birds, Flappy Bird, Clash of Clans, and the like are some of the few games that has achieved worldwide success.

An internet entrepreneur who goes by the name Fortafy has released a new game called "Thug Worm".

Fortafy, 29, is a social media star who has more than 5.2 million followers on Facebook and has been living off revenues generated from his social media presence.

As of writing this article, "Thug Worm" is on the first spot for number one rated game in New Zealand. It has been making records, even breaking the download count of famous apps like Snapchat, Instagram, Itunes, and even Facebook Mobile.

Last Sunday, an official announcement was made about it having the fourth spot in Australia.

Violent reactions from a unhappy users came at Fortafy for making a "rip-off game" of the classic "Snake".

Fortafy defends himself in a statement in Daily Mail Australia, "It's not a rip-off," he continues, "It's an updated 2015 version."

The game was not created by Fortafy himself. A gaming company named Eye Box Games approached him. This was a smart move by the gaming company since Fortafy has a gigantic social media fan-base. The game was built for success and the 5.2 million followers gave that leverage.

Another interesting fact about Fortafy is how he's child is dubbed as the World's Most Followed Baby. Egypt, Fortafy's daughter, has more than 135,000 followers on Facebook and 135,000 followers on Instagram.

Fortafy began growing his social media presence as a rapper and soon evolved into a social media entrepreneur after scoring his first viral video with just 10,000 views. Ever since that post, he dedicated his time in building his Facebook page and turned his artist name into a household name among social media users.
