Kobe Bryant re-lists Newport Coast residence for $7.99 million

Kobe Bryant has reportedly given his Newport Coast house a price cut and relisted it for $7.99 million.

Bryant and his wife Vanessa listed it for $8.6 million in August 2013, having purchased it for $1.7 million.

Covering almost half an acre, the residence contains four bedrooms and seven bathrooms. The two-story home also has a large gym, an office, a theater and a hair salon. Outside, the home has a large heart-shaped swimming pool and a spa, a sprawling lawn, an outdoor kitchen and a firepit.

Interiors of the home feature high drywall ceilings, sweeping staircases, multiple fireplaces and large glass doors and windows.

"Set behind massive private gates in a prestigious guard gated community is this recently expanded, reconstructed and highly upgraded custom estate," the listing describes the "Mediterranean Estate."

The couple also sold off another residence in Newport Coast last year. The home was given as a present from Bryant in 2011, just a month after Vanessa filed for divorce. However, she decided to sell the mansion and listed it for $3.75 million in September 2012. The price of the property was cut twice before it actually sold for $3.22 million.

They still have another house in the area. Check out the photos of the listed mansion here.

Bryant is the shooting guard for the Los Angeles Lakers and has played with the team his entire career. He ranks fourth on the ESPN's NBA "all time regular scoring list" and third in the "all time post season scoring list." He is the highest paid player of the NBA and the top earning player in NBA history, reports Business Insider.
