Anna Anisimova, heiress and socialite, acquires Pacific Palisades home

Anna Anisimova, the actress and socialite once known as Russia's answer to Paris Hilton, has just acquired a recently renovated Pacific Palisades home for an undisclosed amount, reports the Los Angeles Times.

The deal for the property, which was listed for $9.85 million, has yet to appear in the public records.

According to the report, the property sits on three-quarters of an acre and has more than 7,000 square feet of living space. The home includes six bedrooms and eight bathrooms, in addition to three fireplaces. The flooring of the house has been done with teak and terrazzo, while the foyer is teak-paneled.

The home includes a screening room and a gym and comes with a swimming pool and a tennis court.

The property was listed with Barbara Boyle of Sotheby's International Realty and Drew Fenton of Hilton & Hyland/Christie's International Real Estate, but was cancelled just prior to the sale. The last time the home changed hands was in 2011 for $5,665,000.

According to Right Entertainment, Anisimova also owns a posh penthouse in the Time Warner building in New York City. The apartment, designed by famed architect and designer Noel Jeffrey, provides views of the entire city and harbor. She bought the home sometime in 2004 for less than $10 million.

Twenty-nine-year-old Anisimova is the daughter of metal magnate Vasily Anisimov and is married to Peter Schafer, a film producer. Although Anisimova has been working as a model since her teenage years, she came to the limelight in 2005, when she acquired a townhouse in Manhattan's West Village for $23 million from fashion designer Diane Von Furstenberg.

Later, the heiress moved to Los Angeles, where she tried her luck in acting, appearing in a number of films, including "The Whistleblower," "Father of Invention" and "Flutter."
