Celine Dion has reportedly given her Jupiter, Fla., "water park" mansion a pricechop, listing it for $62.5 million.
Dion put the place on the market in August 2013 for $72.5 million. Failing to find a buyer for the Jupiter Island estate, the price has now been discounted.
Joseph Montanaro, the agent representing Dion's humongous residence, told Gossip Extra that the initial asking price was roughly what Dion and her manager husband René Angélil put in to renovate the place in 2010. Montanaro added that the couple listed the property because they weren't using it much.
"The property is currently underutilized," Dion's rep told E! News. "Due to an intensive performance schedule, especially in Las Vegas and around the world over the next five years, the family will not be able to spend much time in Florida. They will base themselves in Las Vegas."
Dion recently extended her Las Vegas residency to 2019.
The couple purchased the property for $12.52 million and tore down the 8,579-square-foot residence to replace it with a 10,000-square-foot main house and the other luxurious features, according to the Trulia Blog.
The large estate, located at 215 S. Beach Rd, spans an area of 5.5 acres. The main house is comprised of 13 bedrooms. There are five other buildings, including a guest house, a tennis house, a beach house, a pool house and a children's playhouse. The property also includes 410 feet of beachfront access.
The main house has an open floor plan, hardwood flooring, high ceilings and large glass windows that offer panoramic views of the ocean. Living spaces of the residence include a formal living room, dining area, a family room and a media room. There is a children's den as well. The dressing room is arguably the most impressive feature with its walk-in closets and fully-automated clothes and shoe racks.
Several terraces and decks wrap around the home. A 7,000-square-foot fully furnished basement is also part of the property.
There is a spa and an outdoor fireplace as well. Generator and elevator services are also available. There are three pools with water slides and a large pond too. The home also has rolling greens and ample parking space.
