Jodie Foster gives Hollywood Hills home another price cut, relists it at $5.75 million

Jodie Foster has reportedly given her Hollywood Hills, Los Angeles home another price cut, relisting it for $5.75 million.

Foster, 50, purchased the home some time in 1997 and first listed the place in 2013 after giving the home a makeover. The home debuted for $6.4 million in June 2013 but was slashed down to $5.9 million that September.

However, the Zillow Blog is now reporting that the residence's asking price has been discounted again after it sat unclaimed on the market for several months.

The residence is a Spanish-styled villa built in 1937. Comprised of five bedrooms and six bathrooms, the 6,060-square-foot, single-family residence sits on a 0.29-acre lot.

The home comes with an office and an attached guest suite. Adjacent to a formal dining room, a butler's pantry leads to a stunning kitchen. A luxurious master suite features a sitting area, walk-in closets, a fireplace and a sauna.

Foster gained recognition for her starring role in "Taxi Driver" (1978) at age 13. She won the Oscars for "The Accused" (1989) and "The Silence of the Lambs" (1991). More recently she starred in "Carnage," "The Beaver" and "Elysium."

Although historically a private person, Foster revealed she was gay during an emotional speech while accepting a lifetime achievement award at the Golden Globes last year.

Foster and her partner Alexandra Hedison were spotted wearing gold bands on their fingers; however, it isn't certain if the two are married. A source told Celeb Dirty Laundry that although a commitment ceremony was held, no vows were exchanged. The publication also reported that Ellen DeGeneres, the famous talk show host, was pleading with Foster not to marry Hedison.
