Jim Bob Duggar, patriarch of the Duggar family and known Christian celebrity has released a letter to fans entitled "Note to Fathers" on the Duggar's family official website.
Despite having his oldest son Josh in rehab for sex addiction, the 50-year-old father to 19 kids lectured fathers on how to keep their family safe from "sensual material" and to treat all children as a "blessing" and a gift from God, an article from Radar Online reported.
Duggar gave some man to man talk to fellow dads and called each father a "spiritual leader" and "coach of the home." He further asked each dad to ask Jesus for forgiveness, to read the Bible, pray with their wives and to protect the family by doing the following rituals:
"Start protecting your family by removing books, magazines, television, or internet that have worldly or sensual content," Duggar writes. "Replace them with good things like wholesome music, biographies of great Christians, good old-fashioned family fun and games." The patriarch of the now defunct Discovery Network show "19 Kids and Counting" suggested.
If only his oldest son listened to his dad, then he wouldn't be in rehab today!
Josh Duggar, father of four children has confessed to cheating on his wife Anna and being addicted to pornography. He is now spending time in a Bible-based rehab facility in the hope that he would be able to think about his wrongdoings, the article from Radar Online stated.
The Duggars family has been a household name with a hundred thousand likes on their family Facebook page. Since Josh Duggar's scandal, the family lost their television show and a lot of fans and followers were dismayed. It just shows that the Duggars are just humans after all.
