Bill Hader, Emmy Award-winning actor, buys Cape Cod-styled home in Pacific Palisades

Bill Hader, Emmy Award-winning actor, and filmmaker wife Maggie Carrie have just purchased a 3,400-square-foot Cape Cod-styled residence in the posh oceanfront community of Pacific Palisades in Los Angeles for $3.05 million, reports RealEstalker.

According to the listing details, this two-story home includes five bedrooms and four full and one half bathrooms. The home features wooden floors all throughout and three gas-burning fireplaces in the living room as well as the family room, which opens up to a walk-in pantry equipped with a center island. A breakfast nook adjoins the marble-centered pantry.

The home features French doors that open to a spacious and trellis-shaded deck overlooking a backyard just large enough to accommodate a plunge pool and a spa. The front yard of the home is fenced and accommodates a two-car garage and a storage shed.

The report says that although the last published asking price of the property was $2,895,000, Hader and his wife paid an additional $155,000. Despite the price, the property does not include a foyer or swimming pool.

Hader is best known for his work as a cast member on "Saturday Night Live," his lead voice role in "Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs" and his supporting roles in comedy films such as "Superbad," "Pineapple Express," "Tropic Thunder," "Adventureland," "Men in Black 3," "Paul," "Forgetting Sarah Marshall" and "Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian."
