Justin Bieber shut in Los Angeles with unpaid home dues

Justin Bieber may have found a buyer for his Calabasas home and its adjoining lot, but he still has at least one major issue to settle before he can move away from Los Angeles for good.

TMZ reports that although the 20-year-old "Baby" hitmaker sold his Calabasas home to Khloe Kardashian for a whopping $7.2 million earlier this month with the view of moving to Atlanta, the deal has yet to be closed.

The deal is scheduled to close next week, but Bieber can only sell the property officially after he settles a mechanics lien worth $86,011 against the home.

The lien, filed by a local construction firm, states Bieber has yet to settle a bill worth $85,011 toward the damage repair services undertaken at the mansion.

Quoting sources, TMZ reports that the singer is working to settle the issue as soon as possible. The deadline for paying the dues is next week.

Soon after his altercations with his neighbours and confrontations with law enforcement, Bieber decided to leave Los Angeles and settle in Atlanta, where he has a number of real estate investments.

While he paid just a little more than $6 million for the home in 2012, Kardashian reportedly paid Bieber $7.2 million after selling her Tarzana estate for $5.49 million to"Big Bang" star Kaley Cuoco.
