Anna Duggar is in tears as she talks about husband Josh Duggar's sex scandals for the first time in an interview.
"19 Kids and Counting" star Anna and other members of the Duggar family have been keeping a low profile ever since her husband Josh admitted to having molested girls as a teenager and cheating on his wife. According to E! Online, Anna, who has remained mum after issuing a statement about her husband's involvement in a sex scandal early in the year, finally decided to break her silence and talk about what happened at the time the news was delivered to her as well as what she and her family had to go through to survive the ordeal.
In a promotional interview for a spinoff of "19 Kids and Counting" called "Jill & Jessa: Counting On," Anna got the chance to talk about the event that changed her and her family's life. She broke down while saying, "It was heartbreaking to hear what had happened."
The Duggar family issued a statement in May that mentioned that Josh came forward and admitted to Anna that he had committed "past teenage mistakes" before they got hitched. She was pregnant with their fourth child then. Anna said, "When you, our sweet fans, first met me when Josh asked me to marry him...I was able to say, 'Yes,' knowing who Josh really is-someone who had gone down a wrong path and had humbled himself before God and those whom he had offended. Someone who had received the help needed to change the direction of his life and do what is right."
Meanwhile, according to Cosmopolitan, the new show "Jill and Jessa: Counting On" will be about the two sisters of Josh but will also feature other Duggars including Anna. They will all be talking about Josh and the scandals he is involved in. The show will start airing in December.
