Charlie Sheen HIV Revelation -- Why Denise And Brooke Have Kept Quiet After Actor Has Announced His Diagnosis

It could be because they wanted to protect their children, or it could be because it was really none of their business, but Charlie Sheen's ex-wives have taken a step back after Sheen's revelation about his HIV positive status.

According to an article on UsWeekly, Denise Richards, Sheen's second ex-wife has known for years that the "Two and a Half Men" actor was HIV positive. And yet she hadn't spilled the beans.

Sheen has two daughters with Richards, Sam, 11 and Lola, 10. Both Richards and Brooke Mueller, Sheen's third ex-wife, are lying low after his announcement. Sheen has two twin boys with Mueller, Max and Bob, 6.

Charlie Sheen revealed at the Today show that he is HIV positive and that he has known about it for four years. A lot of people had been affected with the news: Sheen's ex-flames, former sex partners and former colleagues.

But we have yet to hear about what the ex-wives really think. But, according to an article from Radar Online, even if Sheen's diagnosis is now public, the two women won't be talking about it. "don't expect Brooke or Denise to elaborate on Charlie's health, that is for him to do... Even after the hell Charlie put both of them through, Brooke and Denise only want the best for him," a source told RadarOnline.

What private hell?

Remember the public tweet Sheen posted about Richards? He called her "a heretic washed up piglet Shame pile."

He even criticized Richard's acting with a tweet such as "you should all hear her acting lessons: sounds like dolphins s*****g off Coyotes!!!"

Mueller was not spared from the actor's sharp tongue. During a custody battle between him and Mueller, he blasted the actress on social media by saying "You are a chubby weirdo who will lose at every turn trying to get between me and my boys."
