'The Big Bang Theory' Spoilers: Sheldon and Amy Finally Doing A Sex Scene?

According to E! Online, "The Big Bang Theory" characters are doing the sex twist on their Dec. 17 episode. Executive Producer Steve Molaro said "After over five years of dating, we felt the time was right for Sheldon and Amy to finally consummate their relationship, and we're so excited for the audience to see the journey over the next several episodes."

Many of the fans may become baffled with this update; the couple are no longer together when Amy broke up with Sheldon during the Season 8 finale. Last Nov. 12 episode, Amy started to date a mystery man while Sheldon is trying to get a new girl and on Nov. 19 episode, Sheldon and Amy are trying to at least work out their friendship. So how will they end up having sex?

In a report by Huffington Post, Sheldon and Amy's "big bang" episode was taped on Nov. 17 and will be aired a month later. Many questions are raised especially as to how they are going to end up in that situation and others are thinking that it might be just one time thing that is only brought by their love for each other.

The original plot for "The Big Bang Theory," Sheldon should revealed that he, in fact, had sex before but due to changes in their script, Sheldon "has always been pretty romantically inept." It also took years before Sheldon mustered the courage to kiss Amy.

The succeeding episodes will be intriguing and "Big Bang Theory" fans are expected to be more attentive on the next episodes leading to Sheldon and Amy's "big bang." Huge story development is also expected before the season ends. Amy and Sheldon's sex is momentum moment in his character as what other reporters say, Sheldon is going to places "where no Sheldon Cooper has gone before."
