Larry David finally sells Pacific Palisades home for $12 million

Larry David, the man behind popular sitcom "Curb Your Enthusiasm," has finally sold his Pacific Palisades home for $12 million, according to several sources.

TMZ broke news of the sale. Santiago Arana of The Agency Real estate represented David in the deal.

Funnyman David first listed the place in March 2013 for $14.9 million. Failing to sell over the months, the residence was given a pricechopper and the cost was reduced to $12.99 million in September that year.

Although the home sold below the asking price, David has made a neat profit off the sale.

He purchased the property, which comprises of three separate lots, with his then wife, Laurie. He bought the first lot in November 1993 and the other two were snagged in May 1996 and March 1999, respectively, reports The Real Estalker.

According to the listing records, the 11,272 square-foot main home has seven bedrooms and ten bathrooms. The main living unit features hardwood floors, wooden beamed ceilings and large glass windows.

Exclusive living spaces include spacious living rooms, sitting rooms and a formal dining room. An open modern kitchen with a box-shaped central island adjoins the dining room. Many wooden fireplaces line the living areas. The master bedroom and dressing suites sit on the second floor of the house.

The other two lots have a pool and a 2464-square-foot detached guest house. The two-bed guest house has an outdoor kitchen, living area and a large terrace as well.

David sought to sell as he wasn't living there anymore. The home remained empty for long periods of time as he settled down in the Riviera area. He and his environmental activist wife split in 2007 amid reports of Laurie cheating with the caretaker of their Martha's Vineyard home, reports New York Daily.

David is now preparing for a 'short-ish form' secret project teaming up with Jerry Seinfeld and Jason Alexander, reports TIME.
