Real Estate News: Empire State Realty Trust Announces Details on the Empire State Building’s Holiday Season Surprises

Empire State Realty Trust (ESRT) has announced the details of the holiday season surprises of the Empire State Building for New Yorkers, tourists and fans across the globe.

            "Each year, the Empire State Building warmly welcomes the holidays to New York City," said Anthony E. Malkin, Chairman and CEO of ESRT. "We invite the millions of visitors who come to New York to experience the holiday heart of NYC with a visit to the Empire State Building this season."

            The announcement was made through a press release in PR Newswire. According to the press release, the Empire State Building has prepared lots of amazing surprises and events for their guests during this holiday season. These include surprise appearances of celebrity guests, extravagant holiday decorations, tower lightings, and music performances.

            The window display for the Fifth Avenue that features vignettes that integrate models of the building within gleaming holiday decors and designed by the Mark Stephen Experiential Agency, will be 'unwrapped' on Nov. 18, while the lobby of the building will be adorned with decorations in shades of gold, bronze and silver starting Nov. 18 until Jan. 5.

            The iconic tower lightings will continue throughout the holiday season that includes Thanksgiving, Hannukah, Christmas and New Year's Eve. iHeartMedia will synchronize the annual holiday light and music show to holiday songs broadcast on iHeartMedia New York's radio stations.

            A pianist will be playing holiday classics and a collection of seasonal favorites in the Fifth Avenue, starting on Nov. 30 until Dec. 18, during the hours of 8-11 a.m., 12-3 p.m., and 4-7 p.m.

            ESB will also premiere a music video at Z100's Jingle Ball in NYC on Dec. 11, showcasing the iconic tower's multiple light shows and celebrity appearances.

            Professional musicians will perform their renditions of holiday hits from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. in the South West corner of the Observatory's 80th floor "Dare to Dream" exhibit.

The holiday concert line-up includes:

Dec. 27 - Jersey Four Tribute
Dec. 28 - Anderson Brothers Jazz
Dec. 29 - Baby Soda
Dec. 30 - Dan Levinson Jazz Band
Dec. 31 - Melissa Hammens
