Amy Schumer, comedy "IT" girl and the recent BFF of Jennifer Lawrence, recently listed her $2 million dollar bachelorette pad located on the Upper West Side in the market.
The "Trainwreck" star purchased this beautiful pad back in September 2014 for $1.695 million and is now selling it for $2.075 million. Check out the snapshots of her home over at Curbed.
According to the New York Post, the 20-foot-wide, one-bedroom apartment contains elegant fireplaces, multiple skylights and high ceilings. The outdoor area also contains a mature garden, a deck, gas grill, bench storage, and even a beautiful view overlooking the city which is truly made for a star. The master suite also includes a spa-like bathroom with a claw-foot soaking tub.
The bachelor pad is located in a townhouse on West 80th Street.
Schumer's career continues to soar with hit movies and comedic comments on anything she finds interesting. The star is currently working on a possible movie with Hunger Games star and BFF, Jennifer Lawrence. The movie is also said to be co-written by Schumer's sister, Kim. Schumer has starred in movies like "Trainwreck," where she landed her first leading film role. She also wrote and starred with comedian Bill Hader in "Trainwreck." According to the LA Times, the premiere of the movie led to a tragic shooting in Louisiana which killed two people and injured nine others before the shooter committed suicide.
Schumer has also had hosting gigs in "Saturday Night Live" and the 2015 MTV Movie Awards, as well as her own stand-up comedy shows such as "Amy Schumer: Live from the Apollo." Schumer has also been nominated for five Primetime Emmy Awards for her work in the TV series 'Inside Amy Schumer' which she created, wrote and starred in. Schumer also recently opened for Madonna's 'Rebel Heart Tour' last September 2015 in New York for three nights.
Sounds fancy? It does, but she totally deserves every bit of it after having a rough childhood. Growing up, her parents divorced, her father went through bankruptcy, and her mother experienced downsizing.
