'Persona 5' Release Date, News, Features, Update: Game Will Feature Academy of Juveniles

"Persona 5" will be delayed for release on Summer of 2016 instead of February 5 this year. Aside from that, Katsura Hashino of Altus revealed that the game will feature an Academy of Juveniles, Cross Map reported.

"I know it's been a long wait, but I hope you'll give us just a little more time. Hopefully once it's out, it'll all be worth it in the end. We've been very fortunate to have created a series of games where people feel so attached to each of the protagonists, so we hope that with Persona 5, we'll be able to make a game where the events of it really hit home and make for really impactful experiences," Hashino said in an interview with Gematsu, apologizing for the long wait.

"There are some things that can only be experienced on a console, especially when it comes to RPGs. We've heard from people that games like Persona are the reason they've started playing RPGs again and we're working really hard to make this new one another such game that can reach out to people and grab them," he added.

As players are anticipating the game, trailers as well as game plays had been release to tease it which includes PlayStation Japan that added a dedicated Persona 5 page in its website. High-quality photos were posted on the website showing a glimpse of main character Arsene as well as the anticipated character, Morgana the cat.

It is speculated that a new feature called "Stealth" is added because the main characters will be hiding.

"This time around, though, the protagonists of Persona 5 themselves are on the run for doing what they think is right after something happens completely out of the blue. That mixture of thrills and not-so-larger-than-life cast of characters is what composes the idea of 'academy juveniles' for us," Hashino said.

"Persona 5" will come to Playstation 3 and 4 which is a game with a juvenile school setting wherein "a group of high school students that are being 'chased' by unexpected occurrences due to the justice they believe in," Siliconera reported.
