Jason Cook's fans might have been all thrilled and happy to have him back as Shawn Douglas Brady in "Days Of Our Lives." However, Soap Opera Spy shared that his fans should seize the moments that Cook plays the role of Shawn. According to "Days" spoilers, Cook's stint on the show is only for two months.
Cook is set to exit in 2016 but Shawn will still stay in Salem. It has been reported that NBC called on someone to fill in for Cook's and that is none other than Brandon Beemer. Cook played as Shawn Brady from 1999 to 2006 and then Beemer took over from 2006 to 2009.
Other cast member of "Days Of Our Lives" have been sharing photos during the 50th anniversary celebration of the show and Beemer has been noticeably visible on it.
Jason47's Days Website post on Facebook reveals that Beemer will join the cast of "Days" in 2016.
He wrote, "BRANDON BEEMER TO JOIN "DAYS" CAST AS SHAWN DOUGLAS IN 2016...As revealed today in on-set photos from the cast party at the studio, Brandon Beemer will be taking over the role of Shawn Douglas Brady from Jason Cook in 2016, just as he did ten years ago in 2006."
