7 Things You Can Do In 10 Minutes To Make Your House More Saleable

When it comes to real estate and home selling, little things can go a long way; they even make big differences. What's good about these little things is that they also require little time, which means that you can greatly improve your chance of a sale without really breaking a sweat.

Here are 10 things you can do in 10 minutes to make your house more saleable according to Realty Times:

Dust

When potential buyers visit your home, dust bunnies won't really help. And when we say dust, we mean everything that the eyes can reach  - every countertop, every corner, basically every surface where dust can quickly find its way.

Welcome mat

Get rid of your worn out mat that now only has a few letters left on it. Replace it with a new one and impress the potential buyers even before they can step foot inside your home.

Make your bed

There's nothing wrong with living in the house while it's listed, as long as you don't show a trace of it. So make sure to make your bed before potential buyers view your home; they don't really need to know that you are like a tornado when you sleep.\

Clean off the counters

And we mean every counter in the house that (admit it) are clutter magnets. Get rid of the unopened mails, the day old empty cup of coffee, or keys of who-knows-what. You don't really have to leave the space empty; a pot of succulent, a box of tissue, scented candles, a couple of magazines, anything to showcase what can be done to that corner.

De-clutter

The potential buyers are not really interested with how many stuff you have, but how much space your house has.

Wax your floors

Hide scratches, stains, and chippings with floor wax. You can also use rugs if you feel like adding texture and interest in the space while hiding sins at the same time.

Fold

Keeping things tidy and neatly folded and impress the potential buyers with how organized you keep the place. You make closets and shelves look more spacious too!
