'Daredevil' Season 2 Spoilers: Look Back to Matt-Elektra College Romance; ‘Iron Fist’ Delayed for ‘The Punisher’

Netflix has become the home of Marvel and of its fans as well. They know that there will be four series based on the Marvel Universe characters like "Luke Cage," "Daredevil" and "AKA Jessica Jones."  There is also a rumor about a sister show coming.

The original release date of "Iron Fist" on Netflix is in 2016, however, because of the unbelievable success of "Daredevil", the series' premiere has been delayed. Now, with no updates on the cast or the premiere, speculations are saying that there may never be a debut for the mystical martial artist, and "The Punisher" may even replace the series.

Rumors also imply that Jon Bernthal, Marvel's executive producer, is very happy with Frank Castle's performance in the second season of "Daredevil", which is set to launch on April 15, 2016. Moreover, fans will see Elektra and Punisher first in the upcoming season. In the meantime, there is not much time left for "Iron Fist" and Marvel will still need to lock down the main actor.

The second season trailer of "Daredevil" was shown at the New York Comic Con, and it hints Jon Bernthal's Punisher and Elodie Yung's Elektra. Apparently, both have a major role in the forthcoming season, and their appearance also implies that the series will possibly look back to the college life of Matty Murdock (Charlie Cox).

In the first season, the series showed Matty's childhood, and Elektra's presence shows that fans may have a chance to witness their college romance. Based on the comic books version, Elektra broke up with Matt and left NYC after her father got killed, and worked as an assassin under The Hand.
