Amy Schumer has been doing stand-up comedy for quite some time. She started her career back in 2004. Schumer is known as the first female comic to perform on prestigious stages such as "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon" and "The Ellen DeGeneres Show."

With a net worth of $1 million in early 2015, Amy Schumer is on her way into making it huge. As per the Glory Net Worth, the stand-up comedian is on demand as she slowly crawls her way into the lime light.

Schumer was able to gather numerous prestigious awards and has gathered popularity in less than three years. The sitcom actress wrote and co-directed her first film, "Trainwreck", which hit the big screen just last month.

As per the Celebrity Net Worth, her career is taking off smoothly as she gained popularity. She used to have a book deal which helped her jump start her career. As of the website, she earned $300,000 for "Trainwreck" in which she also starred in. The movie grossed a total of $138.3 million at the box office.

Aside from "Trainwreck," she also has an upcoming mother-daughter comedy film, which would be for Fox. The upcoming project will increase her net worth as she is expected to have $4 to $5 million. Aside from her book deal, she will also star in the upcoming "untitled Amy Schumer project," in which she asked for $10 million.

Not only does she do stand-up comedy, but she can also write. She signed a book deal for HarperCollins back in 2012 in the amount of $500,000.  She then increased her net worth after another publisher gave her a bigger offer in the amount of $1 million after "Inside Amy Schumer" debuted. She then cancelled her contract as she was able to sign a bigger deal. She signed and advanced for $9 million for her biography entitled "Girl With the Lower Back Tattoo" with Simon and Schuster imprint Gallery Books.
