'Star Wars: The Force Awakens' Update: Disney Infinity 3.0 Takes Over; Kylo Ren, Fin, Poe, Rey Playable Characters; Starter Pack includes 'Twilight of the Republic'

Disney Infinity 3.0's focus on "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" has made a lot of people believe that the series will attain a different, new level.

"Star Wars" and Disney are two of the well-recognized names in the world of entertainment, Attack of the Fanboy reported. That is why a lot of fans were surprised when it was announced that Disney had acquired the rights to the franchise. The upcoming "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" has made the "Star Wars" brand even more appealing.

Disney Infinity is way different, unlike the other toys-to-life games. It is like two games in one. Included in the Disney Infinity 3.0 starter pack is the "Twilight of the Republic" playset, which is based on the "The Clone Wars CG" series that ended in 2014.

Along with the set are two of the most popular Disney Infinity figures, "Anakin" and "Ahsoka." This is quite similar with the other Disney Infinity 3.0 figures that came at the launch. Other characters included are Ezra Bridger, and Yoda, as well as Mulan and Olaf, which are non-Star Wars characters.

Disney has recently announced a number of new characters during the Disney Infinity 3.0: Play Without Limits release, according to Game Reactor. This is quite a big announcement because it was made known that the characters that can be played in "The Force Awakens" playset will include Kylo Ren, Fin, Poe, as well as Rey. With the fast approaching release of the film, these are believed to be the most popular toys released so far.

Disney Infinity 3.0 is also said to be backward compatible. It will work with every figurine and with Power Discs even from both game's 1.0 and 2.0 versions.

"Star Wars: The Force Awakens" fans were very happy about Disney's new franchise.
