Twilight Star Peter Facinelli Buys $2 Million Toluca Lake Home; Just a Street Away from Former Wedding Home

Peter Facinelli, who plays the calm Dr. Carlisle Cullen in the vampire movie series 'The Twilight Saga', has reportedly purchased a home in Toluca Lake for $2 million. Facinelli's new house is just a street away from the house he and his ex-wife, Jennie Garth, shared for 10 long years before they divorced, according to some media reports.

Facinelli and Garth split in June 2013, a year after the twilight star filed for divorce. The couple have had the most amicable separation. They have three children and both Garth and Facinelli have 50/50 custody of the children. Both of them have denied spousal support and have opened a joint account where each parent will deposit equal amount of money for the kids' education, according to TMZ.

According to Us Weekly, "Garth told Ellen DeGeneres last year that she and Facinelli were "still a family," despite the end of their 11-year marriage. 'We're still so committed to being there for our girls, that's the most important thing for us,'"

The Toluca lake home that the couple shared sold to 'Big Bang Theory' co-creator, Bill Prady sometime in early September for about $4 million. Going by their immense monetary faith in each the other and also the price of Facinelli's new digs, the proceeds might have been divided equally.

Though both Garth and Facinelli have moved on with their relationships, the latter seems to be in love with the Toluca Lake area. Facinelli's brand new purchase is a seven-bedroom, nine-bathroom, 8416 square feet residence encompassed in a private, gated compound. A five car garage and a pool are also a part of the property, reports Trulia.

Garth is now dating businessman, Michael Shimbo while Facinelli is romantically involved with his 'Loosies' co-star, Jaimie Alexander.

Facinelli, who currently plays Rupert in hit musical series 'Glee', is all set to pen a fantasy novel for young adults. According to Xpose Entertainment, he is teaming up with Rob DeFranco, and young adult author Barry Lyga to write a book titled 'After the Red Rain', which will be published in mid-2015 by Little Brown Books.
