Speculations emerged that Mayweather Jr. seems to be addicted with expensive luxury cars after purchasing one of two Koenigsegg CCXR Trevitas, which only has two of its kind in the world. The car is said to have cost a whopping $4.8 million. As per the news website, Mayweather is planning to build his luxury car collection up until it would reach $30 million.
He recently purchased a 2015 Bugatti Grand Sport Vitesse, which cost him $3.498 million. He bought the car at Braman Bugatti in Miami, FL. As per the website, the Grand Sport has enhanced features unlike the original Grand Sport. It has four larger turbochargers and huge air coolers. His most recent ride has an 8.0 litre 16-cylinder engine. It is capable of 1,200 horsepower which has a seven-gear twin clutch gearbox transmission. His car is neatly designed just in time for Halloween as it is colored black with an orange trim.
Both are only part of his collection as his "car guy", Obi Okeke, dished out more details in regards to the boxer's collection.
"Floyd called me up and told me he wants to broker this Bugatti deal so I flew out to Miami on Saturday to work the deal and we just got it done. The Bugatti is brand new 2015 and the last one for sale in the world , Floyd's car collection is worth about $16 million right now and he wants to push it up to $30 million, and the biggest challenge for me is to find him very special unique cars."
As per The Richest as of 2015, Mayweather currently has a net worth of $650 million. His last income was from his fight with the Filipino boxer Manny Pacquiao.
