'Homeland 3' House on the market Asking $2.1 Million

A house in Charlotte, North Carolina, where the third and the latest instalment of the thriller-drama series "Homeland" was shot has hit the listing market with an asking price of $2.1 million, according to several news reports.

Homeland debuted in 2011. The plot follows Carrie Mathison (Claire Danes), a CIA agent who suspects Nicholas Brody (Damian Lewis), an ex-marine sergeant and a prisoner of war for eight years to have been turned into a terrorist by the Al-Qaeda. Most of the series has been shot in Charlotte.

According to the owners of the house, when they were first contacted by the crew of the series, the house was supposed to be the residence of Carrie Mathison. However, the script changed and the home was used to portray the residence of a group of terrorists, reports Zillow.

Apparently, the crew took three days to set the home up for a single episode.

"I should have kept a log of all the times they came back to the house. The site managers kept coming back and saying, 'Can we come look at the bedroom again? Can we look at the bathroom? Do you mind if we put a fence here?' Just over and over in the three to four weeks prior to filming," Mary Ann, owner of the house said to Zillow.

However, despite all the fuss, the home might end up on screen only for a few moments.

The residence is a 9960 square feet home comprising of six bedrooms and seven bathrooms. Listing records of the home describe it as:
