A Forecast on Knick's 2015 NBA Season Based on Individual Players

The new Knicks NBA season opening gets nearer, so let us take a look on the team's players and see how the Knicks will fair in the coming 2015-2016 season according to each player's stats.

Jose Calderon Update: Coming from a calf injury that threw him off last season, Knick point guard Jose Calderon must bounce back and his team give a good shooting percentage and a tough hand on offense; a bad defense is not exactly what he needs in order to make up for last season. With his career average of 6 assists, 10.5 points, 44 percent 3PT and 45 percent FG, plus in a healthy condition, he seems fit to be back for this season.

There is no surprise if Carmelo Anthony will be relied once again by the whole team. However, keeping him with the range of 38 to 40 minutes per game is a good idea to lessen his chance of becoming more dependent on a mid-range jumper.  But there is no doubt that this superstar will be playing another great offensive year, with his 7.1 rebounds, 26.2 points, 2.9 assists, 37 percent PT and 44 percent FG, CBS New York reported.

Robin Lopez will surely give what the Knicks expects to get from him. With his fair rebounding, the offensive work in the basket and an outstanding defense, Lopez only needs to play 70 to 75 games to continue on his average of 8 rebounds, 11 points, 1. 5 blocks and 53 percent FG.

Although it seems like some people do not believe in Arron Afflalo, good defense will be his greatest asset and contribution to the team. However, a stubborn hamstring is posing a threat at the start of this shooting guard's season. He is expected to collect on a 44 percent shooting the average of 14 points per game and 37 percent PT, but for only 60 games. But if he will play the same type of play like he did during last year's game against Denver and Portland in terms of both the defense and offense, then the Knicks will surely have a problem. Some forecasts see him after a year choosing the free-agent market.
