Celebrity Home: Jonah Hill Lists Hollywood Hills Home for $2.995 million

Well-known actor-comedian Jonah Hill has recently listed his home in the Hollywood Hills with an asking price of $2.995 million.

The house that was owned by the "Jump Street" movies star was built in 1959 by Fillmore Crank for his wife, actress Beverly Garland. Garland lived in the house until she died at age 82 in 2008. Her acting career spanned for more than five decades and is known for her role as Fred MacMurray's second wife on the family soap opera "My Three Sons" (1969-72).

The property was then bought by Hill five years ago for $1.865 million. Hence, this is just the second time that the Midcentury compound will be passed to a different owner.

The main house is designed by architect Richard Dorman and when it was updated in 2012, it was architect Padraic Cassidy who worked on it. Upon entry at the house, one will be welcomed with a Zen-inspired courtyard. The house has an open floor plan where the living and dining areas are located featuring glass doors and a state-of-the-art screening room, LA Times reported.

The 3,660 square feet home also includes four bedrooms and 4.5 bathrooms. It also has a detached guesthouse which is a good way to entertain guest and offer them their much needed comfort.

Said house sits on a third of an acre lot where in one can find a cabana with an entertainment center, a saltwater swimming pool with a spa, and a barbecue area and a sports court, The Olympian reported.

The house is listed under agent Rona Passman of Hilton & Hyland, an affiliate of Christie's International Real Estate.

Hill is starred in the 2013 films "The Wolf of Wall Street" and "This Is the End" and also on the crime drama, "True Story." The 31-year-old actor will also be featured on the "23 Jump Street."
