Game Studio Sega officially announced that the release date of "Total War: Warhammer" for PC, Mac and Linux will be on April 28, 2016. It is the first installment of the epic trilogy which includes downloadable content packs and a couple of stand-alone installments.
The Creative Assembly and Sega confirmed the "Total War: Warhammer" release date after they showed a demo during the July Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3). The game detail was disclosed in January and then hinted about in March. The "Total War: Warhammer" development is done with the collaboration of Warhammer license-holder Games. The game studio is famous for their games like "Halo Wars 2," "Total War: Attila" and "Alien: Isolation."
According to Sega, the game includes two expansion packs with hundreds of hours of gameplay. "Total War:Warhammer" will also have pre-purchase bonuses, and a batch of pre-order incentives. The bonus is in the type of Chaos Warriors race pack. The first batch of downloadable content will be given to the early customers.
Sega also confirmed in a press statement that the game will have monstrous creatures, bloodthirsty units, unique new mounts, all-new narrative-driven quest journey for each Legendary Lord, and cursed magic and armory of twisted items. The price for the mid-tier edition is not yet known. Furthermore, there is a limited edition package which has a metallic case for the disc and a walkthrough.
Sega also confirmed High King Edition, another high-tier edition. This edition includes collectible Grudge Ring with a rotating inner band, Book of Grudges, Slayer's Whetstone Pendant with a talismanic Master Rune of Spite, Integrated Artbook, Dwarfen Drinking Horn & Stand, Insider Guide and Canvas Map.
In other news, the building of the unholy Wall of Pay is to start immediately. The Chaos Warriors have been announced as playable characters in the upcoming game. Gamers would be able to have access to the "Total War: Warhammer's" Grand Campaign during the launch day through DLC, and the game can now be pre-ordered.
