Actors Kurt Russell and Goldie Hawn have finally sold their beach-front manse in Malibu for $9.5 million, according to several media reports. The home sold after receiving a few price cuts.
Apparently, the home actually belongs to Hawn. The couple has been using the home as a summer retreat and a money-minting shack, offering it up for rent in the summers. The residence first debuted in the listing market with a $14.7 million price tag in 2011. About ten months later the price was lowered to $11.2 million. Sometime in 2012, the cost was chopped to $10 million and again to $9.95 million before finally selling for the aforementioned sale price, reports Star Pulse.
Originally built in 1978, the home was given a major makeover in 2005 by famed AIA architect, Gus Duffy, who gave it a bohemian look. The residence is a 4200 square feet single family house comprising of four bedrooms and four full and one half bathroom. The two story residence has mixed flooring with large glass windows and doors.
