'The Flash' Season 2 Spoilers: Danielle Panabaker is Killer Frost!

New characters continue to be introduced in "The Flash" Season 2. This time, cast member Danielle Panabaker will flip the switch to her Caitlyn Snow character into Killer Frost.

Danielle Panabaker recently teased about her icy character during an episode of "The Talk" on CBS. She gushed with excitement as she talked about "dressing up" in the series.

"All the boys get to suit up and duke it out - I want to be out there!" Panabaker said in her interview as reported by TV Line.

A one-piece costume similar to "Catwoman" was the first version Panabaker wore, which according to her, "didn't  feel quite right." Then, the actress and the team came up with a new look. It consists of a dark blue corset top adorned with dark metallic trimmings and leather pants. The actress also shared that she first wore a short pixie wig until they decided to add some more and turned it into a long platinum hair.

Panabaker currently plays the role of a scientist named Caitlin Snow. Her character is part of the S.T.A.R. Labs team along with Barry Allen/Flash (Grant Gustin). She first appeared as a guest star in "Arrow," "The Man Under the Hood" before becoming a series regular in "The Flash."

In an interview with Comicbook in April, Panabaker confirmed the appearance of Killer Frost in the future.

"There's absolutely no wincing at all on my part. After my experience with this first season and how many different places we got to take Caitlin, I am completely confident that it's not going to be all of a sudden she just flipped a lightswitch and became evil."

In the comics, Killer Frost has the ability to suck up heat from various matters and reverse it. She can also manipulate the temperature and create objects made out of ice. She is also able to freeze things through touch or any form of physical contact.

Killer Frost is introduced as a supervillian and one of the rivals of Firestorm. However, in "The Flash" TV series, the character first appeared during the Season 1 finale in May 2015. It was during the time Barry went into his Speed Force mode, which made him see the past, present and future events.

EP Andrew Kreisberg told Entertainment Weekly on how they will delve into the future storylines in the series.

"Yeah, now that people have seen the finale, there were some things we're letting happen faster than people are expecting and there are other things we're slow playing. That's the fun for us as writers, but hopefully for the audience too," said Kreisberg. "Whether that happens next year or the year after that, we'll have to wait and see what the speed force tells us to do."
