Britney Spears Splashes $7.4 Million for a Big Estate in Thousand Oaks

Through Mark David's regular celebrity real estate news in Variety , it is learned that veteran pop icon Britney Spears shelled out $7.4 million for a 20.86 acre property in Thousand Oaks, California.

The Indian Express has also reported that through this purchase, the 33-year-old singer has acquired a hill top, 12, 464 square- foot property which has five bedrooms and 7.5 bathrooms. David describes that a marble-floored foyer leads to a "great room "which is at par with a hotel lobby. It comes with a wall-to-wall carpeting, a huge firewall with built-in media cabinets on both sides, and a 35-foot high ceiling. The mansion has an elevator and has additional public spaces such as the baronial formal living room, stacked with a limestone mantelpiece extending almost to the ceiling and a dining room. It likewise has a library that is oak-panelled, with built-in shelves, a fireplace and a Parquet de Versailles flooring. The center island kitchen has all the facilities and equipment a chef will look for. It also leads to an informal dining area with another fireplace and bay window.

Four suite-size family bedrooms are connected by a private and spacious master suite on the upper floor. This master bedroom has its own fireplace, a sitting area, a private terrace with a panoramic mountain view, together with two expansive and custom fit, walk-in closets, a pair of luxurious bathrooms- one of which comes in pale beige marble and with a jetted garden tub and the other in dark beige marble with a steam shower.

On the upper level of the main house is a "huge media/game room." The gated estate has an infinity pool and an estimated 1,200-square-foot poolside pavilion with a full kitchen, a bathroom and a 3,500-bottle wine cellar. It can be recalled that Spears has previously owned multi-million dollar homes in Beverly Hills, Malibu, West Hollywood and rented also some mansions in Los Angeles. She even bought a hacienda-style home in the Sherwood Country Club, also in Thousand Oaks.
