ZTE’s AXON Mini and AXON Watch Unveils in China, Makes Mention of New AXON Max

When ZTE AXON Pro reached the U.S. on the first day of August and the same choices also appeared last month, the smarthphone buyers were given the opportunity to get a 5.5" screen along with a RAM of 4GB and Snapdragon 810 for $450.

At present, the manufacturer unveiled in China its smaller edition of this device, the ZTE AXON Mini, accompanied with AXON Watch minus the Android Wear. Although it is not yet available, the manufacturer revealed that a larger version of AXON Max is arriving soon.

AXON Mini is not small, but smaller. The user will still have a 5.2" display, offering pressure-sensitive touch. Sadly, the specs had also taken a hit. It offers a RAM of 3GB and Snapdragon 616. The rear camera is steady at 13MP, however, the battery made a little dip from 3000mAh down to only 2800mAh. The handset is 7.9 mm thin and 70mm wide, while Bbezels come in 0.85mm, Android Police reported.

"The devices in this line up of ZTE Axon products are made completely with the  consumers in our mind and to become the center of what they do," said Adam Zeng, the CEO of ZTE Mobile Devices during a press release.

The device is going to be available in different colors: Rose Gold, Ion Gold and Chromium Silver. ZTE is giving a Premium and a regular edition of the said device, while it is unclear if what is actually the major differences between these two. The Rose Gold will cost $399, Regular Axon Mini will be sold at $379 and Premium Axon Mini is at $439, Tech Times reported.

The flagship smartphones will be made available in China via online and major retail shops "in the following months."  Axon Mini will be sold in Thailand, Hong Kong, Singapore, India, Russia, Australia, France, Germany, Turkey, Italy and Spain.

ZTE's Axon Watch is available in China on Oct. 27.
