Microsoft Surface Pro 4 Update: Why You Need the Surface Pro Pen, Surface Dock, Zagg Slim, Type Cover, OEAGO Leather Case

Surface Pro 4's release also came with a number of accessories, including the Surface Pen and Type Cover.

The Surface Pro 4 pen is one of the best accessories that came with the device. It has 1,024 levels of pressure sensitivity. It also contains an eraser at the other end. Clicking on the Surface Pen will immediately open One Note while double clicking it will activate the print screen feature. Pen tips with different sizes are also available, WCCF Tech reported.

Surface Dock is also available for the new Surface Pro 4. This gives the tablet an additional Ethernet port, four USB 3.0, one audio, and two Mini display options. This will give the user an additional option to plug-in more accessories, just like a desktop computer.

Surface Pro 4 Type Cover, on the other hand, is one of the most basic but vital accessory for the tablet-laptop hybrid. This gives a user the option to transform the tablet into full laptop mode, Microsoft has also greatly improved its features. Aside from a wide variety of available colors, it weighs less and is thinner than the previous generation. There are two available variants for the Type Cover, the basic model is priced at $129.99, while a version with a fingerprint scanner will cost around $159.99. This includes a bigger track pad made out of glass, which can be attached and secured with magnets, Android Origin reported.

Surface Pro 4 works best with the Zagg Slim Cover. Using a magnetic hinge and a Bluetooth connection, the island shaped keys can give a user an improved keying experience. Backlit keys are also included which makes it more useful even in a low light environment.

Surface Pro 4 can also be protected in many ways. For one, OEAGO has already made available a PU leather case with a microfiber interior that provides secure and adequate protection for the tablet-laptop hybrid. The foldable front flip comes in three appealing colors.
