Meanwhile, it was earlier reported that the theme of the season will be about not giving up on the ones you love. This involves the story of Emma and how her loved ones will help her escape her current situation.
In a recent interview with Inquisitr, Morrison teased about Emma's journey as the Dark One. She revealed that Emma was not consumed by the darkness immediately and is now experiencing a kind of struggle between her real self and the darkness that is inside her.

It was reported earlier that Merlin is the key for Emma to stop transitioning. Series creator Adam Horowitz has also revealed an excerpt from the script through a photo on his social media account, which hinted that Emma doesn't seem to want to talk to her parents.
