The White House power couple announces their divorce which Mellie clearly doesn't want.
IB Times "Scandal" spoilers revealed that Mellie won't step back on this thought and even wages her own war for the two, and that the First Lady brings her A-game in the presence of an "old friend." And to do the dirty deed for the damage that Mellie has experienced, she calls in "Cyrus" to make Olivia go down.
Among the steps that the hurt Mellie demands is for Olivia to not take the "Grant" name and the acquisition of their family home in Santa Barbara. Cyrus as cunning as he is knows how to manipulate things and later on makes Mellie realize the real deal in which makes Mellie decides to leave the White House.
