Sony VAIO Canvas Z News: High-end Innovative Tablet Made for Creative Professionals

The Apply iPad Pro, Google Pixel C tablets, and the Microsoft Surface Pro 4 has found its new competitor in the next-generation of tablets, as Sony released its own next-generation tablet in the VAIO Canvas Z.

It is the tablet that designers will look forward to as it is described as "the precise and powerful tool for creative professionals on a mission."

In a review by CNet, Sony Canvas Z is said to be light and durable. It is built with an aluminum alloy body and 6-side tempered glass that has anti-show features which could withstand accidents. The back is also built with a freestyle kickstand which could be adjusted to different angles and resist pressure.

As for its features, CNet compared the performance of the Canvas Z to the 15-inch Macbook Pro. With a 12.3-inch LCD WQGA display with a 2560x1704 pixel screen, it is powered by the Intel Core i7 Haswell processor. As for its other internal features, it has the Intel Iris Pro Graphics 5200 for its graphics card, you can even choose between having either 8GB or 16GB of RAM, and as for its internal memory, you can choose between 256GB, 512GB and 1TB.

With its outstanding hardware built in the device, the Sony Canvas Z is also preloaded with Windows 10 as is operating system. To add to that it comes with a 63 Wh high-capacity battery which help for long and continuous work and a wireless keyboard which you can placed anywhere you pleased.

The touch screen features of the Canvas Z allows professionals to use a stylus on drawing or wring down notes on the tables. The stylus is designed as a real pen for innovative work and feel.

According to Laptop Mag, price starts at $2,199, with 8GB RAM and 256GB memory. The prices varies on the models such as the 16GB RAM and 512GB memory is priced at $2,599, while the 16GB RAM with 1TB memory at $3,099.

The Sony VAIO Canvas Z tablets began shipping on Oct. 5.
