Celebrity Vacation Homes: Spend the Holidays in Frank Sinatra and Elizabeth Taylor's Palm Spring Mansions

Planning a vacation this year? Have you thought of staying in your favorite Hollywood Stars' home?

Hollywood icons like Frank Sinatra and Elizabeth Taylor have left some nice and relaxing real estate in their wake. Most of the new smart purchases have viewed the chance of investment in leaving them literally untouched. Well, spending the holidays in Frank Sinatra's crib may be more fascinating than short term leasers, if they can make use of Sinatra's sound system. Who wouldn't wish to sleep in the master's suite which resembles the White House's Lincoln Room?

The present owners are aggressively aiming tourists via home rental sites like HomeAway.com, although some are welcome to longer rental contracts. Renters want to stay longer so that they could speak with Lori Seyer, the estate property manager of Harry Houdini estate, for instance, and to take time to discover the lavish estates' mysterious crannies and nooks.

The rate starts at $2,600 a night, and almost eight people could rent this Ol' Blue Eyes modern home. There is a grand bedroom, which has 6.5 Palm Springs bedroom named, Twin Palms Estate, bought in 1947 by Sinatra.

It also has a patio, cabanas, a piano-shaped swimming pool, a wet bar, a barbeque grill, a piano, stone floors, several fireplaces, a mid-century home design, and Sinatra's sound system.

As for Casa Elizabeth, it can now be leased by eight people at a time for a getaway in Palm Springs. The rate begins at $630 per night with a guarantee of access to some of the bombshell's things, like oil paintings and photos.  The mansion has a 4.5-square-meter bathroom, four bedrooms, patio, waterfalls, floor to ceiling windows, breakfast bar, piano, a detached mother-in-law suite, and a jetted bathtub.
