"Parks and Recreation" alum Aziz Ansari was recently spotted scoping out an East Village penthouse with his girlfriend Courtney McBroom, a pastry chef. According to reports, Ansari checked out the penthouse unit at the Village Green, which is worth $4.9 million.
"Aziz Ansari and (his) girlfriend Courtney McBroom have checked out an East Village penthouse twice and apparently like the outdoor space," an insider said, according to Daily News. The publication states that the penthouse triplex is "one of a kind" and features a huge roof deck. It is also home to two bedrooms and two and a half baths. It measures a total of 2,000 square feet.
The Douglas Elliman listing of the property also states that the penthouse is located in an area filled with trees where one can "find the ultimate in eco-indulgence and luxury." Other features of the property include heated floors, an outdoor sound system, solarium, bar, an open kitchen and a powder room.
According to The Real Deal, Ansari is currently living together with his girlfriend in Los Angeles.
Celebrity Net Worth reports that Ansari's earnings are estimated at $12 million. Aside from being an alum of "Parks and Recreation," which has gone off air after six seasons, Ansari is also an author of the book "Modern Romance," which reportedly earned him $3.5 million.
Ansari started out as a standup comedian in 2000 and was able to win the 2006's Jury Award for "Best Stand-up" at the U.S. Comedy Arts Festival in Aspen, Colorado. His career includes roles and appearances in MTV's sketch comedy show "Human Giant," and movies such as "Funny People," "I Love You, Man," "Observe and Report," and "30 Minutes or Less."
