Fans of "The Walking Dead" may finally set their sights on the new villainous character named Negan.
According to the spoiler site Spoiling Dead Fans, the executive producers and creators of the AMC series recently had a casting call for character named Orin. In the comic books, the character Orin was never mentioned, so thousands of fans believe that the network came up with a fake name to prevent fans from speculating about Season 6' new villain.
According to Design & Trend, AMC is well-known for releasing fake names for some of their characters, especially if they want to keep details under wraps.
"Orin 30s to mid-40s. A physically imposing, charismatic, brutal, smart, ferocious, frightening, hilarious, inappropriate, oddly friendly, fun loving sociopath that is both leader of men and a killer of men. He has both a practical and emotional intelligence, he's a brilliant strategist, he's pure, dangerous, murderous, often gleeful, that has both discipline and a code... And he has a temper that can vaporize people. He's truly one of the strongest personalities ever..." the casting call reads.
Meanwhile, series showrunner Scott M. Gimple previously revealed that fans could definitely see Negan in the upcoming sixth season of "The Walking Dead."
In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Gimple said, "It's absolutely a possibility. And when I say it's a possibility, we have a plan in place, but there's a couple more variables for that plan that we're deciding about. It really depends on a few factors as we move into setting up the last bit of the season story-wise."
During a previous interview, executive producer Robert Kirkman said that Negan's storyline will also be a huge one for the series. Since then, fans could no longer wait to see the inclusion of the villain to the AMC show.
"The Walking Dead" Season 6 will premiere on AMC on Oct. 11 at 9 p.m. ET.
