"Dance Moms" alum Chloe Lukasiak recently slammed those who people who have been making fun of her eyes and calling her "sleepy eyes." In a video she posted on YouTube, the 14-year-old professional dancer revealed that she recently underwent operation for her Silent sinus syndrome. This condition has caused Lukasiak's right eye to look much smaller than her left eye.
According to the former reality TV star, she and her mom Christi started noticing changes on her right eye about a year and a half ago. They immediately decided to have it checked, and she underwent a series of tests to find out what's wrong with her.
Lukasiak was then diagnosed by a specialist who told her that she needed to undergo operation. If not, there's a chance that the problem could get worse, and it could also affect her vision.
In her video, Lukasiak revealed how painful it was to be made fun of by people who didn't know that her eyes didn't look "lazy" for no reason. At one point during her clip, Lukasiak could be seen holding back her tears after getting a little bit too emotional.
As of late, the young dancer is in recovery and is being cared for by her family and boyfriend, Ricky Garcia, according to Design & Trend.
Meanwhile, after leaving "Dance Moms" and Abby Lee Miller's ALDC, Lukasiak joined Studio 19, where she is reportedly learning so much about herself and her talent. During a previous interview, Lukasiak denied reports that she will return to "Dance Moms" for the upcoming sixth season by saying that she's very happy with Studio 19. In the studio, Lukasiak said that she receives criticisms, but in a way that is encouraging and not offensive.
"Dance Moms" Season 6 has been renewed by Lifetime and it will premiere sometime next year.
