'The Vampire Diaries' Season 7 will focus on the romance of Stefan and Caroline as well as the existence of the Heretics. Meanwhile, a new promo video teaser that gives a first look of Teressa Liane as the vampire-witch villain Mary Louise has been released.
On the first half of Season 7, Caroline (Candice Accola) will be dealing about her emotions, after accepting her feelings for Stefan (Paul Wesley) following the death of her mother in the previous season.
Wesley who is playing the role as Stefan Salvatore said, according to TVLine, "Caroline wants to be with Stefan, but she's also trying to do the right thing by herself, taking the time to mourn her mother's death so she can enter into this relationship with a clean state and a free mind. The heart wants what it wants when it wants it, so we'll see moments where's she's struggling, wanting to say something but not knowing what to say."
It was revealed by executive producer Julie Plec that there are many interesting things planned for Caroline and Stefan and it might even include pregnancy in the storyline since actress Candice Accola is pregnant in real life.
On the other hand, CW Network released a teaser video with the first glimpse at Mary Louise, who is one of the six Heretics. Liane exposed that her character will be hesitant to expose another Heretics, Nora, played by Scarlett Byrne. She further revealed that Nora will publicly expose their relationship in the present day Mystic Falls.
Aside from Mary Louise and Nora, other members of Lily Salvatore's vampire-witch family will be seen in this season after they are released from the 1903 prison world of the Gemini Coven of Season 6. Lily Salvatore (Annie Wersching), the Ripper mother of Stefan (Paul Wesley) and Damon (Ian Somerhalder) is said to be wreaking havoc in Mystic Falls with the Heretics.
In the premiere episode, Damon will live without Elena Gilbert (Nina Dobrev), who is currently asleep in a coffin in the Salvatore crypt.
Season 7 will run through two timelines that includes the story in the present-day Mystic Falls and through a flash-forward to three years in the future, Yibada reported.
"The Vampire Diaries" Season 7 will premiere on Thursday night, Oct. 7, at 8/7c on the CW Network.
