The Trespasser DLC for "Dragon Age: Inquisition" was released Sept. 8, 2015, for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. It is the third and final downloadable content for the third installment in the Dragon Age Series. According to Eurogamer, this has an ending deliberately set as a subtle cliff hanger, giving a hint that gamers will soon be seeing a Dragon Age 4. So for those who have not completed Trespasser yet, this article may turn out to be a spoiler.
Eurogamer said that whatever choices the player would make throughout the Trespasser storyline, the DLC ends with the inquisitor planning a group of partners, said to come from outside of the main regions of Dragon Age's world Orlais and Fereldan, in order to track down rebel elf Solas.
Aside from reports about Solas finally revealing the true nature of his character in this DLC, some Dragon Age Fans, who have successful downloaded Trespasser, reportedly have shared via Reddit a few major points. According to IBT, Redditor CheezFilling has mentioned a few characters who are confirmed eligible for marriage including Lavellan, Cullen, The Iron Bull, Sera and Cassandra. But the possibility of Lavellan marrying Cullen can only be seen at the end of the DLC. It also mentioned The Inquisitor getting amputated to avoid his death.
In the last scene for Trespasser, The Inquisitor has put a knife in the map of the Tevinter Imperium, an unexplored location, giving a clue that a Dragon Age 4 will be coming in the future. While this may be true, it has been reported that the next Dragon Age may not arrive very soon. According to IBT, Bioware, the studio behind Dragon Age, is currently working on "Mass Effect: Andromeda," a major title that will be released in 2016. Having said that, fans may have to wait for a little while for the studio's announcement regarding the next Dragon Age.
With Solas reportedly revealing something about the true nature of his character, do you think he will be a key character in the next Dragon Age?
