Valentine's Day Singles Roadmap In New York City; Where to Find Your Match (MAP)

Ladies if you're complaining about not finding enough men in your town or men if you can't make up your mind on where to find the right woman, you can forego the matchmaking and dating websites this year.  Pull out your maps, and find that special someone this Valentine's Day.

If you're a New Yorker, you're in luck.

Trulia, a real estate trend blog, has put together a roadmap directing New York City singles to locations with the most singles, color-coding blue spots for more single men and pink spots for more single women.

In major Northeast cities, like New York, Boston and Washington D.C., single women outnumber men, according to Trulia. Specifically, in New York City, the men are outnumbered 1 to 1.07.  So all you men out there will have your chance.

Metro.us advises men to find the single ladies uptown, while women have to take the subway downtown to 14th Street or Long Island City, Queens to find more single men. Trulia added the most populous scene for single ladies are on the Upper East Side, like ZIP code 10021, where you can find two single women for every single man.

Trulia's foolproof method involved looking at the ratio between single men and women in the city then removed the gay and lesbian population.

If you're spending time outside of New York this weekend, don't worry, there's a dating map ready for you, too, including stats for ladies on the lookout.  You can find more men in Las Vegas, Honolulu, Miami, Salt Lake City and San Jose, among others. If you're in the neighborhood you can also head out to Allentown, Pa.

For you guys who want to head out of the Big Apple, you can head into Bethesda-Rockville-Frederick and Baltimore, Md. Richmond, Raleigh or Atlanta, just to name a few.
